About Us
Our Story
The foundation’s journey began with a focused commitment to addressing one of Nigeria’s most pressing yet under-discussed health challenges: Hepatitis B.
With Nigeria bearing one of the world’s highest burdens of Hepatitis B infection, affecting an estimated 20 million people, the need for dedicated intervention became undeniably clear.
However, as our work evolved, we recognized that health challenges rarely exist in isolation.
The communities we serve face interconnected health issues that require integrated, holistic approaches.
This realization led to the expansion of our mission to encompass a broader spectrum of public health concerns, including HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Malaria, and comprehensive maternal, child, newborn, adolescent, and eye health services.
Our approach recognizes that true health equity can only be achieved when we address the full spectrum of health needs within communities, while maintaining our primary focus on Hepatitis B elimination.
